Name: Dominic Laface, SPC. Descripton:Coaching Background: Dominic Laface has been involved in fitness and sport performance training for eight years. His interest for strength and conditioning began during his football career at Loras College. As a full-time athlete and student, Dominic took on an additional full-time role of Student-Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Loras, assisting in the design and implementation of training plans for the 21 intercollegiate athletic teams on campus.After completing his playing career, Dominic fulfilled an internship with the 2011 Big Ten Champion Wisconsin Badgers football team. From 2012-2013 Dominic served as a Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Northwestern State University. At NSU, Dominic organized the developmental plans of the softball and volleyball teams while assisting with the football and baseball programs. Both the softball and volleyball programs went on to have their most successful seasons in program history after just one off-season training with Dominic.Dominic finished his collegiate coaching career at New Mexico State University from 2013-2014. At NMSU, Dominic served as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under CSCCa Master Strength Coach, Don Decker. Dominic was thoroughly involved in the development of training and nutrition programs for the Aggies’ football team and travelled with the team. Additionally, Dominic assisted 2001 NSCA Strength and Conditioning Coach of the year, John Taylor, in training the New Mexico State baseball program. As a coach, Dominic has since taken his efforts to the private arena to fulfill his dream of working with high school athletes in the pursuit of achieving college scholarships. After helping athletes from a number of sports in Las Cruces, New Mexico to do just that, Dominic has transitioned to the Wasatch Front in order to serve a greater variety of student-athletes and their families.
