I scheduled a "Free AC tuneup" in late summer of this year, the tech came and told me i needed to change a rusted relay and some other part i cant remember (my AC was working as a champ), it was a total of 750 dlls and i told him i would think about it. A couple of months after during a cold night i switched my thermostat to heat mode and it would only blow cold air, i went down and removed the furnace cover, found a switch that controls the ignition being in the OFF position, turned it back on and furnace worked again, i guess they wanted me to be their first customer for the winter season calling them for a "repair" or a new furnace, in the 4 winters i've own this home i had never had to mess with that switch and why in the heck the technician would have to mess with my furnace in the first place. Stay away from this company and try to find an honest one, i know it can be hard.

A few years ago a "service" technician came to look at my furnace. He didn't even look at the problem before starting on his sales pitch. After listening to his rant about government rebates and deadlines for eligibly, I eventually just asked him what the problem was with my furnace. Without investigating, he said, "You need to replace the filter." He charged me $65 for the "service" call and left. I logged into the Better Business Bureau and complained that I wasn't happy with PAYING $65 for a furnace sales pitch. After several back and forth messages, they agreed to refund my $65. I refused to change the BBB complaint to "resolved" until I received the refund. They didn't like that very much, but eventually sent the refund. By the way, the filter wasn't the problem.

they were supposed to come out Sunday, but they took down my # wrong and since they "couldn't get a hold" of me they cancelled the whole appointment! Then they said they'd be out first thing Tuesday morning and showed up at 5:20!!! Then the guys didn't even look at the pilot light or even act like he wanted to look at it and said it would be $1400!! Like I'm an idiot and would give them all my money for this! I told him I found them online for under $300 and he said those were the same thing we had. I asked if he had one that would last like 5 years because that's about all we'd need and that's when he said $1100. It was such a joke! Waste of time and awful company I'd never use again!!

Warning: Over charge and do not stand behind their work

I paid $510 to have Action Plumbing and Heating to come and repair a broken outside pipe and dripping faucet. The faucet keep dripping, so when I called them to come and repair they tried to recharge me $140 for the repair that should have been fixed and under warranty.
