We had action come for an estimate and without even touching the garbage disposal he informed me that it needed to be completely replaced. He didn't even flip it on! Did look down the drain though and told me the blades were free so there was nothing jammed. Told me it would be $500 to replace and after we told him we would not be able to do that right now he said he could "mess with it" and get it working for $89. I then said that would be great since I have a $33 off coupon at which point he said the $89 was after the coupon. Uh, I hadn't told him I had a coupon. He said If I wanted to use the coupon I would need to pay $230. Makes sense. Not. He told me I would pay the $89 once it was fixed. Wait, is this the same guy that said it needed a new motor for $500? I was very taken aback by his attitude and he got angry and ended up storming out. DO NOT CALL THEM! Take your money elsewhere, they will rip you off!

I watched the serviceman do the service. He informed me the furnace needed an $800 part and was so near the end of its life and a new furnace was the best option. I had another honest furnace guy come out to give me a bid. He wanted to truble shoot the furnace becase he said it still looked good. He did a couple things the other guy never did, like look at the lights that tell the repair man the error codes. I know the other guy never did this because two plugs cover the lights and he never removed the plugs. After 3 minutes of truble shooting and brushing a flame sensor for literally 1 second the furnace was fixed and has worked fine for a month now. No parts needed. I second of brushing with a wire brush. I called Action for a refund of my $59 service charge. Supposedly a manager would call in 24-48 hours. No call. Buyer beware. Looking back the only things the guy looked at were to try and scare me into buying a new furnace ($6000-10,000).
