Nightmare Experience - So Unprofessional!

A division of Bailey's installed a dishwasher that we purchased at Home Depot - per HD's contract with them. It was installed improperly. It leaked, caused water damage to our home: Our whole kitchen had to be torn apart, the contractors sent to "fix" the issues were sub-par. Bailey's Claims Dept - specifically, Judy - was HORRIBLE! She was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL! I asked SPECIFIC question in both email and over the phone about what would be covered/the process to cover things, my questions were NOT answered. Bailey's did NOT keep us informed or manage the work going on at our house. I called the Salt Lake office and asked for a manager to call me back; it never happened. I asked Judy for the name of her manager, she would not provide it. They flooded our home in Jan 2014, and we didn't even get our first check until JUNE - it was NOT itemized or for they amount we were out. We had to get HD corp involved and STILL weren't reimbursed as much as we lost. Nightmare!


     

Worst Experience Ever

My moving experience with Bailey's is the most horrible one. Cindy, who worked on my moving case, is rude, irresponsible and a liar. I moved from another state last summer. The initial promised time was two weeks. By the day my household should be delivered, I was told that they never found a driver to leave the west coast. Then it happened so many times that Cindy said they found a driver and my household was leaving but it turned out that she was lying every time. I ended up staying in the hotel for 5 weeks, which was extremely frustrating. Bailey’s did pay my extra hotel staying according to the contract but the coordination by Cindy was the worst. I have been kicked out by the hotel once because Cindy didn’t reserve the hotel properly and I had to switch to another hotel. When the movers finally, they are not professional. They asked for water and sat on my expensive sofa during their break, which made me very uncomfortable. So my advice is NEVER use Bailey’s!!!!!!

WORST Experience Ever!!!

This was my 3rd professional move and was BY FAR the WORST experience EVER! There was a laundry list of problems: 1) They did not send a reasonable amount of help for our move. 2) After they realized that they needed more help they called two more girls, who did NOT want to be there and were constantly making rude comments 3) MANY wardrobe boxes had no clothing but were obviously used because of size. They have hole handles but my kids' entire rooms were packed inside. No packing paper was used and toys were littering the floor of the moving van. Almost all the toys from my daughters room are broken or missing several pieces. My 5-year old was in tears! Another box had unwrapped vases on bottom with my husbands tools stacked on top. My piano has a large gouge in the top and our treadmill has water damage. 4) We were checking off boxes and this is the labeling system: box---- numbers 300-350. No descriptions. A professional move is great but RUN AWAY from Bailey's & go anywhere else!!!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS

I used Bailey's moving storage two weeks ago. It was one of the WORST transactions I have experienced. 1.) They estimated it would take four hours to move my house. The actual work (and subsequent billing) was 3x that amount 2.) Their dispatch overbooked trucks, so instead of sending the truck trailer that had been committed, they sent two smaller trucks which resulted in more trips (and higher $$$ for Bailey's) 3.) They overbilled us for the actual time their guys worked by more than 20% 4.) They had told us they would "take care of the costs" for sending the incorrect truck, but when we got the invoice, it was never taken out 5.) I attempted to contact the company and work out a reasonable compromise that both sides could accept. They did not stand behind their commitments or satisfy the issues. I was willing to pay for the extra work, but I wanted Bailey's to take responsibility for their poor quotation and short comings on their commitments afterwards, but nobody would step up.
