Referring to the unhappy lighting customer, how can it be a rip-off when none of the aquarium stores allow returns on lighting? I was just in there the other day and they have a sign stating no returns on lighting. The reason for this is because customers could buy lights, take them home and put their old lights in the box and try to bring them back. I've known the owner of Live Rock 'N Reef for over 10 years and know them to be very reputable and customer service oriented. The fact that Live Rock 'n Reef has just moved from a smaller shop to one about 3 times the size speaks volumes for their focus on customer service. I went to go buy some bulbs for my dad and the guy that was helping told me to buy some bulb and try them out and if they don't fit come back and change them. So they didn't fit and when I went back the owner told me no exchange and to bad. even tho his worker told me I could return them. He was rude and super bad service will never go back and don't recommend anyone to go there.

I own several tanks and was in need of some pH strips and some chemical to stabilize the pH. A friend of mine mentioned there was a new fish store around my area so I decided to go there. BAD MISTAKE. The person there (who was either the manager or owner) was a complete jerk. Talked to me as if I didn't know anything about tanks. In all acuality every time I asked them something they didn't even know what I was talking about. What a complete joke. Why go into a business in which you have no clue about. Waste of my time
