Best Preschool Around!!

My son has loved his last 2 years at Newcastle and doesn't want to turn 5 because he has to go to kindergarten! They are so organized and put together amazing programs and activities for the kids. My son has learned so much and comes home singing all the new songs he learns at school. His brother will definitely be attending next year!
Perfect Preschool for a well-rounded child

I chose this school after searching through all the other "big name" and local small preschools I could find. My son went there for two years and my daughter is just finishing her first year with them. They focus on academics, writing, play, music, and social interaction. My children already knew a lot when they started and yet I still saw them grow and progress. My son is in Kindergarten and reading 2nd grade level chapter books. My daughter who is 3 is already sounding out words. This comes from getting a good base and understanding letters and sounds. Having helped out a lot in the Kindergarten class I have seen the advantage this gives children. The director and teachers have been great to work with and my kids have always loved going to school here.

We have loved our experience at Newcastle Preschool! The school provides a developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes: free play, academics including early reading skills and math, music and movement, and art. Both of our sons loved their time at Newcastle (especially the pirate ship on the playground!) We are excited for our youngest son to attend in 2014.

My daughter has attended Newcastle for 2 years and is currently enrolled in the Pre-K program. I can't say enough positive things about our experience. She loves the music program and enjoys the cooking lessons. She knows all the letters and sounds and is currently learning basic sight words. We will not have to worry about her being ready for Kindergarten. They also do a lot of fun family activities throughout the year and I'm able to volunteer in her classroom. Newcastle is organized, clean, and child focused. The teachers and staff are kind, caring, patient and fun.

All 3 of my boys have gone to The Newcastle School. I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful they are! With our first son, we were so nervous and weren't sure whether to do a private (in home) preschool, Montessori, or what. So we searched and searched and never felt right. The moment I walked through the front doors of The Newcastle School with my little man, I was greeted by Kathleen and literally had to fight back the tears. I just knew this was the perfect combination of love, structure and play that we were searching for. Their Love & Logic approach, cleanliness, newsletters, playground, variety in learning, "on site" field trips, musical programs...and most importantly their teachers are absolutely outstanding. I really can't say it enough. Our baby is finishing off his last year there and we are just heart broken to be finished with such a wonderful chapter in our lives. They truly are the best!
