Bought a Groupon for the standard dye film "AT Smoke" and was educated on the different tints and how they protect differently. I decided to upgrade the the film "DarkMatter" that would better fit my needs. I am extremely satisfied how the tint turned out on my 2015 Tundra Limited edition Toyota. I would recommend Royal Tinting. Pleased with there professional care as well expertise to tint my truck windows.

I also went to Royal Tinting because i had a Groupon. however I didn't have a bad experience. I read what the Groupon covered, So i knew my car had a couple additional windows that i needed to add. also they were very helpful in explaining the difference between the films, not once was i told any of their films were garbage. what i gathered is they essentially have a good, better, best scenario. they simply explained the different tints to me, i then choose the Darkmatter ceramic tint as i felt it was the best option for me given the info i was to make my decision. there was no nickel and dime, there was no hard sale. I do not understand some of these reviews other then they clearly didn't read what they bought, and honestly seem like they wanted something for nothing. I had an excellent experience at Royal Tinting, and i've been to many different tint shops, i will be going back here. Best Tint Shop i've been to.

Workers need to smoke outside the building

The other reviewer was right and I should've avoided this place. My car now smells like cigarettes. I had the groupon but eventually ended up paying $80 more to get ***** int on the back and had to pay for "quarter" windows. They will nickel and dime you to the end. Clean-up after installation was horrible. Had water on my seats and oil stains on parts of my car. You'll also get charged $2.75 for shop fees. Sorry, but if these prices were up-front on the Groupon, I wouldn't have bought the deal. Not coming ever again.
Owner response: THE GROUPON WAS VERY CLEAR EXACTLY WHAT WAS COVERED AND WHAT WOULD BE ADDITIONAL. WATER IS REQUIRED TO INSTALL WINDOW TINT CORRECTLY, HOWEVER OIL STAINS? THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE SINCE THE ONLY THING USED IN WINDOW TIN INSTALL IS SOAPY WATER. THATS IT.

Never asked when they tinted the car if we wanted the whole back window tinted instead they took it apon themselves to cut out the 3rd brake light which I planned on getting a new one anyways so my entire window could have been tinted. Now I have the giant chunk missing from the back window and when I called and asked how much to possibly just fill it they said they couldn't do that and had to replace the entire back window for 150$. Also I paid for a banner across the top front of my car and the installation was horrible. The first installation left the dot areas visible and the car didn't have the solid black strip across the front. So I called the place back again and the owner told me he would be able to glue it and make it actually look like it is supposed to so I went back to the shop to have him try again. Looked amazing for about 4 days then went right back to the original non solid line. So I had to return to the shop for him to remove it and wasting the money I spent on it
Owner response: IT IS UTAHS TINT LAW TO CUT OUT THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT. IN THE WORK ORDER THAT YOU SIGNED PRIOR TO ANY WORK BEING DONE IT STATES THAT "YOU UNDERSTAND UTAH'S TINT LAWS AND THAT THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT HAS TO BE CUT OUT." EXACTLY WORD FOR WORD. YOU SIGNED THE BOTTOM THAT STATES I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE INFORMATION ABOVE AND AGREE TO THE PRICING LISTED ABOVE.
Taking appointments is hard

They probably do a good job, but I wouldn't know because they failed to honor my appointment. They told me without the appointment it was going to be a 2 hour wait instead of the usual 45-60 min wait. As soon as I heard that, I just walked away.

WE TRY VERY HARD TO GET EVERYONE RIGHT IN, BUT SOMETIMES WE ARE BUSY AND IT DOES TAKE A LITTLE LONGER TO GET IN. I FEEL A NEGATIVE REVIEW, BECAUSE WE WERE BUSY AND COULDN'T DROP EVERYTHING WE WERE DOING FOR CUSTOMERS AHEAD OF YOU IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR.
