          Josh Sawyer earned his music degree from the University of California, Davis.  This degree included ear training, piano and music theory allowing him to offer a complete musical understanding to his students.  It also allows him to focus lessons on areas students are most interested in.  
            Private lessons allow students to learn at their own pace, with the teacher designing individual curriculum for every student. Private instruction is ideal for learning and developing sophisticated playing technique.  Lessons consist of weekly half-hour or hour time slots. Guitar Lessons

We took guitar lessons from Josh and my daughter loved every minute. Josh is so patient and kind with her. I would recommend him to anyone. It has been a great experience.


     

Great Music Teacher

Josh is the best music teacher we have had over the years. He has taught our 3 children both piano and guitar. He is super patient, very encouraging and kind as well as a great musician himself.


     

Piano lessons

Both my boys have piano lessons with Josh and are doing really well. Josh is incredibly patient and lets them go at their own pace. They are interested in learning pieces of music that they have chosen for themselves and Josh makes time in the lesson to teach them that too! Both boys are now interested in learning to play the guitar as well and will not hesitate to choose Josh as their teacher.


     

Piano and Guitar Lessons

My boys have been in music lessons with Josh for months now and I couldn’t be more pleased, not only with how they are progressing, but with how much they enjoy lessons. Josh has a wonderful disposition that makes the boys love learning. He is encouraging and has such a positive attitude with the boys, even while correcting them. If you are thinking about starting guitar or piano lessons with your children, I would highly recommend Josh.


     

Positive and patient with his students

Mr. Sawyer is incredibly positive with my daughter to help her develop a love of music. He is patient in helping her learn the piano and she really enjoys having him as a teacher.
