Unprofessional, took the money and didnt finish job

Found Marc from a KSL classifieds ad. Took bid on basic carport roof repair that he finished with minimal contact, and then offered to repair french doors to working condition. For the door, he requested payment upfront, and disappeared. After multiple contacts, he sent someone else to repair, and did not finish the job. The tenants report he requested to tell me (the landlord) that he did a good job, because he wanted the business. Dont know for sure, but given his promises to follow through with no execution, I tend to believe it.
