We use "Radiant-Heat" commercial brooders to house and brood TOP Egg Laying chicks through the heat stage of their first 4-6 weeks.  That's when the customer takes over (at age 6 weeks) when the pullets are now "COOP READY".  Poultry Sales from Day-old Chicks to Brooded Pullets.  

We order in the TOP Laying Hen breeds: Ameraucana Easter Eggers, Rhode Island Reds, Rhode Island Whites, Gold Comets, Black Stars, White Leghorns, Brown Leghorns, Black Australorps, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Speckled Sussex, Barnevelders, Blue Ameraucanas, Buff Orpingtons,  Blue Splash Marans, Columbian & Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Blue Wyandottes, Blue Splash Silkies, White Silkies, Lavender Orpingtons, Lemon Cuckoo Orpingtons, Black Penedesencas, "QUACKLESS" Muskovy Ducks, Blue Cayuga Ducklings, & Sebastopol Geese.  We occasionally sell Fertile Hatching Eggs.  Laying Hens are only available in August when we sell off our personal laying hens age 14-18 months.  They are not offered any other time of year, because our main business emphasis is day-old to 6 week-old chicks!
