Name: Horseback Riding Lessons. Descripton:I have over a decade of experience in training/showing horses. I have gentled foals, started and fine-tuned horses, and solved behavior problems, all using safe, humane horse logic. I have done everything from Dressage to Barrel Racing - even sidesaddle and carriage driving! I began teaching private lessons five years ago. My students have competed and excelled in Western Pleasure, Western Equitation, Reining, Trail, Barrels, Poles, Showmanship, English Pleasure and English Equitation. My students and I have won All-Around Champion of our age divisions multiple times - but most importantly, we know how to have fun!I not only teach my students to ride well, but also teach about horse breeds, colors, markings, conformation, health, care, and most importantly, safety. In every lesson, I see my students not only improve in riding, but they also build confidence, patience, perseverance, and respect for themselves and others - along with a healthy dose of good humor and humility.Private lessons are $35 per lesson (1.5 hours) while group lessons are for up to three people at a time and last 2 hours to allow me to give the proper attention to each student ($25 per student per lesson). Group lessons are a great opportunity to learn from each other, build new friendships, and support one another. For an additional fee, I can come to your location and instruct you and your horse together in your normal setting.I currently have openings 1pm-5pm on Mondays and Thursdays. I DO offer lessons through the winter as I believe that a little snow should not come between horses and riders! I am eager to share my passion and experience with riders of all ages, experience levels and disciplines. Beginners are absolutely more than welcome (parents, this is a great Christmas present!) Please call, text or email me to set up an appointment. I am able to respond very quickly.
