This planner is actually not anything but a storytelling therapy or a way to raise healthy children mentally, socially and emotionally by teaching through reading stories to your children.
According to experts, mental illness can be grouped as 1) depression (bipolar, moods), anxiety (obsessive compulsive, paranoia), dementia (Alzheimer's), eating disorders, and schizophrenia (psychotics disorders). The treatment involves:
1. psychotherapy (understanding more about the emotional, social, mental situation) and
2. fixing the physical (medical problems, sicknesses, etc.)
3. increasing the support of family, friends and other
4. changing the way of thinking that is failing (ways of coping and what to do)
5. and medication (which is not involved in natural therapy).
This workbook addresses these: depression and anxiety treatment and the roots of schizophrenia or psychotic episodes. You know what depression is and have probably heard of natural therapy for depression. This is a treatment planner for depression in kids; but it is also an expose of the Tin Man.
This workbook planner is about the Oz wizard, Cinderella and the prince fairytales, magic, library children's stories, supermen, witches and a lion. We answered the Obama question on LinkedIn on obesity where they responded saying they were going to use our material asking that we be involved further with puppets in Florida where we sent information to the White House on our 4 amazing character images we use in our model for our program. The Tin Man is a character who had no heart. He was emotionally distanced and lacking emotionality.
Parenting according to the great and powerful wizard, these characters, are the model that fit in looking at all the studying we did to solve these problems.
End Result: a happy, healthy child
Weber School District Student Services and the White House have supported our approach using library picture books to solve some problems.
