"BIZE - dessert studio" pronounced like "Bizet" in french, or [Biz-ay]. Is named after the great French Opera Composer: Georges Bizet, who liked a specific Meringue-Cream dessert so much it was named after him.
Owner Lena Stacey is the daughter of a chef in Ukraine. She has always had a passion for truly delightful desserts, and art. Since moving to the US, she began to miss the kinds of desserts found in the local dessert shops commonplace in Europe. Places where true care, love, and attention to the dessert elevate it to an exquisite art form. Traveling around and trying many desserts over the years, none seemed satisfy this longing for a truly delightful dessert. Most seemed either too sweet, bland, or commercial tasting. After realizing that what she missed, would be treasured by others as well, she decided the best solution would be to create her own studio (a place where art is performed) where her talents, art form, and passion for delightful desserts could be expressed for everyone to enjoy!
