Thank you for visiting Black Forest Clock Works, the one place that you don't have to pay a fortune to get your favorite Timepiece back in accurate running order. I personally specialize in Grandfather Clocks such as: Seth Thomas, Ridgeway, Sligh, Hermle, Howard Miller, Kieninger, Hekman, etc. I also service and repair smaller clocks such as Mantel, Wall Clocks, All American Made Mechanical Clock Movements, Banjo Clocks, Wall Clocks, and Aniversary Clocks.
Most people don't know that their favorite clock needs service until it stops working all together. Where as in truth a clocks oil drys up and get dusty in as little as two years of constant use. We change or oil in our cars every 3-5 Thousand Miles so its not so hard to realize that a Mechanical Marval such as a Grandfather Clock with Chimes would need to be properly cleaned and reoiled every 2-3 Years. I charge $150 for an ultra-sonic cleaning, re-oiled with High Grade Synthetic Clcok Oil then reassembled and adjusted and put back in your Grandfather case. We pay big money for these Clocks, sometimes in the Thousands of dollars; so it makes common sense to do regular maintence on something as valuable as your favorite Grandfather or Mantel clock, i hope you would agree. And sinse I give free estimates to residents in Clearfield, Clinton, Layton, Kaysville, Roy, and the surrounding areas please don't hesitate to pick up the phone and give me a call, I can be to the clcok that same day. I have 12 years experience in clock repair so rest assured that your favorite clock will be handled with the upmost care and respect. There is nothing I love more than bringing an old clock "Back From the Dead", or to keep your current Beauty up to clean running standard. With this digital world we live in I can get parts for just about any clock made in the past 100 years with a few exceptions, French Clocks are dificult but not impossible. Thank You for visiting Black Forest Clock Works and my name is Steve, Owner/Operator.
