Community Nursing Services is a not-for-profit, skilled nursing home care and hospice provider with 85 years of experience in Utah. While our headquarters are in Salt Lake City, we have an office in Brigham City for service in all of Box Elder County and an office in Providence for serving Cache County.
CNS is celebrating 85 years of caring, prompt, and courteous home visits to people throughout Utah for a wide range of medical conditions. Thank you for calling us!
Mission: CNS creates moments and experiences that heal individuals and families, by providing compassionate care, and by putting health, dignity, comfort and well-being first. We are a non-profit organization and it is our privilege to serve you and the communities in which we live.
Company Overview: CNS provides home health care, hospice and palliative care, infusion pharmacy services, respiratory services, immunizations and flu shots and durable medical equipment. CNS serves 93% of Utahns through 11 offices and several partners in the Utah Home Health Coalition.
Qualifications: CNS is one of the few CHAP accredited home health and hospice agencies in a six-state regional area. CHAP was the first home care accrediting body in the nation to receive deemed status from the federal government. By approving CHAP for deemed status, the government certified that CHAP's Standards for Excellence met or exceeded the government's own standards for Medicare certification. Of the 9,000 home health agencies in the nation, only about 350 are CHAP accredited.
Affiliations: We are proud to be a partner in the Utah Home Health Coalition (UHHC) whose 8 home health agencies provide services to all of Utah. CNS also helped establish the Idaho Coalition of home health Agencies (ICHHA). These two coalitions contract with nearly every third-party payor in the region to provide home care and related services wherever they are needed, whenever they are needed.
