Jason received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Brigham Young University in Social Work. Working at Wasatch Mental Health, Four Corners Behavioral Health, the Division of Child and Family Services, LDS Family Services, Rocky Mountain Home Care and Hospice has given Jason extensive experience working with at-risk adolescents dealing with emotional stability issues, family therapy, anxiety, depression, defiance, self-harm, self-esteem, parenting concerns, grief and loss, trauma, and eating disorders. Jason has additional experience working with domestic violence survivors. Jason also has experience teaching parenting classes and support groups and is an advocate for the role of parents in the lives of their children. Jason primarily uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidenced based treatments. Jason works with a variety of ages including children, adolescents, and adults. Jason's primary focuses are anxiety, depression, family relation concerns, marital difficulties, eating disorders, sexual addictions, chronic illness, and adolescent issues. In his spare time, Jason enjoys working in the yard, playing with his children and music.
