General Info

Hannah Garrett began playing the violin at age 4. She has taught dozens of students over the last 10 years in both California and Utah. She received her Bachelors Degree in Violin Performance in 2010 from Utah State University, studying with Yi Ching Fedkenheuer. Under the direction of Fry Street Quartet violist Russell Fallstad, she helped create the Utah State University String Academy. She was the violin department coordinator, and also taught new Suzuki parent orientation. Hannah has a strong passion for the Suzuki method, and has taken training courses from Judy Bossuat, Mimi Zweig and Ronda Cole. 

Hannah is currently a member of the American Festival Orchestra, conducted by Craig Jessop. She has performed with artists such as Jenny Oaks Baker and Maureen McGovern, and performed with ABBA Tribute: Arrival From Switzerland. She has also worked with many classically trained violinists, such as Andres Cardenes and Brian Finlayson. Hannah also has a passion for fiddle music, and has worked with world renowned fiddlers such as Alasdair Fraser, Martin Hayes and Annbjorg Lien. In high school she was asked to perform as a soloist at a private event for singer/actress Rita Moreno. She has performed in Austria and Hungary in youth orchestras. She enjoys playing in chamber groups, discovering new teaching ideas and fiddling. 

Hannah teaches all ages from small children to adults, and all levels from Beginner to Advanced violinists. 

Tuition rates are as follows: $22 per half hour lesson $32 per 45 minute lesson  $45 per hour lesson
