I have studied harp for 16 years, performing in concert halls as well as private events since the age of 7. I am a senior in the BYU Harp Performance program, and have performed in many prestigious university events, including the Homecoming Spectacular, numerous dinners for the university presidency, and KBYU-FM broadcast of the BYU Philharmonic. I have also competed at the national level.
Over the years, my mentors have included University of Utah professor Dr. Cathy Clayton, Orchestra at Temple Square harpist Julie Gaisford Keyes, University of Arizona professor Dr. Carrol Maclaughlin, and BYU professor and Juilliard Graduate Dr. Nicole Brady. I have also participated in workshops and master classes with such renowned harpists as Emmanuel Ceysson of the Opera National de Paris, Louise Vickerman of the Utah Symphony, Sarah Bullen of the Chicago Symphony, Lynne Aspnes of the University of Michigan, and Milda Agazarian of the University of Moscow.
My repertoire is diverse and extensive, spanning classical favorites, pop, rock, and film music. ** I am open to requests, and am happy to incorporate special "couple songs" or pieces of sentimental value into my set** these add a particularly intimate and unique feel to any event.
Email or text me for video or mp3 recordings of some of my most popular pieces, or for information about my rates and event packages. I know sticking to a budget can be difficult, and can almost always work something out to make adding the elegance of a harpist to your event possible. Contact me for any party, ceremony (baptism, funeral, wedding, etc.), or reception to make your gathering much more special.
