There was a talk by a doctor for a large business in the state yesterday. I didn't catch the doctor's name but I did hear while passing about his experience going without his bike for a week or so and eating donuts for breakfast and fast food 3 times a day. After a few days he didn't want to go out but just sit. He gained 8 pounds that week. He became very stressed, easily annoyed, developed a respiratory infection and a bad pain in his leg. He saw his stress and irritability as leading into an allergy and there was something going on with his blood and sugar (diabetes). His message was that we are in control of our sicknesses and health problems; we cause most of them. The company was selling vitamins.
I had understood that it was best to eat the natural foods and water soluable vitamins if necessary and also to avoid powders because powders on foods and powdered products were difficult on the gastrointestinal track clogging the pores and also seeds are hard on the system. Making foods less edible to bacteria, plant and animal microorganisms, also made food less edible to humans, so it is good to eat foods that become spoiled quickly, but before they spoil.
We didn't believe the powders were helping the people at the conference, most of them were very involved with poor health. It's funny because we have gluten free meals, which many of them required. It's the popular trend. We had lactose intolerant meals. We have vegetarian meals. A lot of people just don't like the hunk of meat and so go for the other meal, whatever it might be. People are choosing to be without the basic 4: gluten is bread and wheat; lactose is milk; meat is meat. So far people are not thinking vegetables and fruits are a problem to health. How crazy is that? Today's world supports the Basic 1 food pyramid. They really did not look that healthy for eating all the powder. We know powder is not that good for you.
