John Monson has nearly 25 years of sales and management experience working in the tech and commercial real estate industries.
In June 2000, as Strategic Account Manger and Data Sales Specialist, Monson worked for a national telecommunications company providing solutions for large and mid-sized companies. In his role as Data Sales Specialist, his responsibilities included managing the efforts of 18 account executives and while helping his team accomplish over 200 percent commercial quota achievement. Monson served the Salt Lake City market and was able to be nationally recognized for quota attainment and team performance competing against larger markets such as Denver, Chicago, and Miami.
In February 1997, Monson also was employed by the largest value-added re-seller in Utah, Uinta Business Systems (professional services group) where he focused on professional services in large accounts.
During this time, he provided multi-vendor solutions and provided effective, scaleable solutions while managing projects from planning to implementation.
During his employment at Uinta Business Systems, the company had its record sales in revenue dollars. He has held leadership positions in a non-profit organization for many years overseeing budgets and finances as well as weekly member activities.
