The Leishman Violin Studio is comprised of students taught privately by AnJeanette Leishman. Lesson are offered in both Hyrum and Fielding, UT and will start in Logan in Sept 2015. Students are taught by the Suzuki Method, which emphasizes technique, good tone, and ear training, as well as early childhood education and the development of the child as a whole.
AnJeanette recently graduated with her Bachelor's of Music in Violin Performance from Utah State University. She has studied violin under the direction of Robert Waters and the Fry Street Quartet for the past 3 years, but has 15 years of serious violin study and ensemble experiences. AnJeanette has at least 7 years of teaching experience of all ages, starting as young as age 3. She is a certified Suzuki trained teacher and studied with the Suzuki pedagogue Cathryn Lee. AnJeanette loves teaching young children especially, but enjoys sharing the richness of a musical life with everyone.
