Our number one goal is to fulfil our mission, which is to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate environment, with high quality care for preschool and daycare age children. We strive to enhance their ability to learn through incorporating visual, auditory, and tactile learning styles. This encourages a positive social environment conducive to learning new skills.
We accomplish our mission by offering a safe, learning and loving environment for children ages 6 weeks to 10 years of age. Little Cubs program focuses on social development, identifying emotions and academics. We use The American Academy of Pediatrics 4- strategy program. This is a program that helps children develop acceptable social skills. This 4 step strategy will help your preschooler with self-control, empathy and verbal communication. We focus on helping children identify and understand their own feelings, accurately read and comprehend emotional states in others, manage strong emotions and their expressions in a constructive manner, how to regulate own behavior, and to establish and sustain relationships which all lead to increased mental resiliency in children as they grow. This will also help them to communicate, connect with others, and more importantly, help resolve conflicts, gain confidence and reach goals. Little Cubs will also help your child get ready for the academic rigors ahead. We have created a curriculum that will help your child master the skills that they will need for academic subjects later on. We are a play based center because research has shown that children do the most learning through play. Play is how children begin to understand and process their world. Children’s plays unlocks their creativity and imagination, and develops reading, thinking, and problem solving skills as well as further develops motor skills. It provides the base foundation for learning.
