General Info

My name is Devon Chandler, and I have been playing guitar and bass for just over half of a decade. Teaching music is something I love to do; it combines two of my passions. I have taught very locally among peers for two years, with nearly a dozen students. I love to teach, and want the opportunity to teach you or your musically-inclined family member/acquaintance/coworker, so I've made it my goal to be as competitively-priced and convenient as possible!

I teach at beginner and intermediate levels in nearly all styles (including, but not limited to: jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, country, rock, metal, and more). I also teach beginning music theory. I charge ten dollars per lesson and will even do house-calls (within a reasonable distance). The lesson has no set time, only as long as it takes to teach the material. I should mention, however that it becomes pointless to go over about half an hour, as most of learning is practicing on your own time. I also do minor repair and setup work for whatever pocket change is lying around.

So please, give me a call or send me a text referencing lessons! I'll do everything I can to get you on track to being a rockstar!

I'm going to add as a sidenote that the shop I'm occupying in the pictures accompanying my posting is Murphy's Guitars on Main Street in Bountiful. Best shop for quality of guitars and repairs in Utah, in my honest opinion. They also have some amazing teachers there for all levels including advanced students. They charge a little more than me, but are definitely worth your consideration also.
