Hello, I am MaryAnn Siebert and I am a piano teacher. I have been teaching for 6 years from my home. I first started in Las Vegas where I had twenty students and was a part of the Las Vegas, Nevada, and National Music Teachers Association, but since have moved to Provo to be married, and am now looking to teach here.
I have played piano since I was five years old under the direction of Cheryl Thornton (President of the Nevada Music Teachers Association) and then majored in Piano Performance at University of Nevada Las Vegas under the direction of Mykola Suk. I was brought up playing classical piano using N. Jane Tan's "The Well Prepared Pianist" method and also teach that method, although I am willing to blend methods that have been previously taught to experienced students.
I teach all ages ranging from preferrably 5 and up. I love starting new students, and taking on mid range levels to very advanced levels. I also enjoy teaching older people how to play basic hymns and songs so they can contribute at church or other things if they'd like.
Musicality, technique, and theory are very important to me. I try to help all of my students learn that piano is a life skill that they will have for the rest of their lives. Everyone can play the piano if they are willing to learn, practice, and enjoy.
Piano lessons. $25/hour, once a week.
