NY Pizza Patrol was started by two long time friends and business partners in 2009 with one restaurant in Draper. With its initial success and the demand for a casual sit down Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria, they decided to open another restaurant later that year in Layton, and a third restaurant in West Valley City in 2010.
Growing up in an Italian family with a strong tradition of cooking great Italian food and the many recipes that were handed down from generation to generation it was always our desire to open an Italian restaurant. This desire coupled with the demand for a sit down pizzeria we decided to create a restaurant that serves great Italian food with New York style Pizza being a large part of the menu.
New York style pizza was chosen because we wanted to serve an artisan pizza in the tradition of hand-made, hand tossed pizzas that New York is famous for. Most of the menu items are traditional family recipes that have been in my family for generations.
