About the teacher:
I have been teaching music for over 12 years and have had over 170 happy students to date. I've been playing the violin since age 11, the piano since age 4, and I've been singing since before I could talk. Playing music has opened up some pretty incredible opportunities for me, including a 2007 summer tour of Western Europe playing street shows in places like Paris, London, Florence, Venice, Zurich, Barcelona, Rome, and more, performing for festivals and carnivals all over Utah and Idaho, featured entertainment for barn dances and ho downs in Alberta, appearing in musical theater productions like 1776 as Martha Jefferson (Broadway West Theater, 2011) and The Scarlet Pimpernel as Marguerite St Just (Draper Arts Council, 2013), as well as countless other performances. I love music! And I love teaching music!
I am Suzuki trained in violin, and incorporate several other methodologies for piano and voice depending on the needs and learning style of the student. Whether you want to learn to fiddle like a true cowboy or sing like Charlotte Church, I can help you on your musical journey. The first lesson is always free.
I teach out of my home in Santa Clara, Utah.
