General Info

I am looking to teach violin and viola lessons for beginning and intermediate students. I love teaching, and I've got the time to do so, so I'd very much like to get started again. I have already taught several students, and while each student differed greatly in their musical abilities, they each dramatically improved as a result of the effort they made to practice what I taught them. I have taught children thus far in fourth, fifth, and sixth grade, but I am able and willing to teach older kids as well, not to mention adults who would also like to learn how to play the violin or viola. I charge fifteen dollars for half an hour and twenty-five for a full hour.

And a bit of my background: I majored in viola performance during my first year at BYU, I played in the BYU Philharmonic, and I performed in the television program "Music and the Spoken Word" and in Rob Gardner's "Joseph Smith the Prophet." Given my experience, I am quite confident that I can help my students greatly improve their playing.

If interested, please email me or call me at 717-357-1248. My phone does not take texts, so you'll have to call me if you wish to contact me by phone. It would be great to hear from you. Thank you!
