General Info

The educated ear is important to the success of a violinist. Classes in ear training and sight-singing are part of this program. Here is what is being offered:

1) Kindergarten-age child twice-weekly singing classes: Mon and Wed at 11:00 or 2:00, 45 min.

2) 6-8 year-old twice-weekly singing class: Mon and Wed at 4:00 p.m., 45 min.

Students begin their music study with the singing classes. The violin is introduced in January for students in the older class; at that point they will receive a weekly 30-minute private lesson and a one-hour group class at a cost of $110 for a full month of lessons. A 5-year curriculum is in place which prepares students with total music literacy, enabling them to participate in existing orchestral programs with confidence. On-going private lessons are available.

Classes are held at the home of Cynthia Richards: 175 North 200 East in Orem.

Cost: $210 for the entire semester course, or $60 per full month of lessons.

Calendar: Sep 8th through Dec 17th except the week of Thanksgiving.

Spaces are limited to a small group of students.
