I take a lot of pride in my work and will make sure you are satisfied with your piano. I was trained by Tom Zimmerman, owner of Utah Pianos who has been tuning pianos for 50 years. I have several years of tuning experience and work very hard to make every piano sound the best that I can. I have tuned several hundred pianos and it usually takes me about an hour per tuning. I will do pitch raises if neccesary, though I don't enjoy doing them. If I do, it means the piano is a whole pitch off and I need to raise it up, taking two tunings in the same session. I charge 20 dollars more for this, in order to make sure the piano is properly in tune.
I charge a 75 dollar base price. Then if needed, I will do a pitch raise for an extra 20 though that's not typical. Tunings are done with an accutuner 2 and also by ear when needed or by request. Basic repairs are complementary (stuck keys, broken pedals, etc). I usually will schedule for afternoons and weekends, depending on the area you live in.
Some promotions I have are that I will tune your piano for half price if you have me come again within 6 months, however this is usually only neccesary if the piano needed a pitch raise. As a referral bonus, I will also give you 10 dollars off your tuning price if you refer a friend to me! And another bonus I will give you is if you call me back to tune your piano, I'll take 10 dollars off the base $75 price.
